Regulation of the immune system

Restoration of immunocompetence is a fixed component of biological tumour therapy.

The immune system is always at work, day and night. In this way it can regain control over the cancer cells in the long term, and prevent the progress or recurrence of the cancer.

Oncological therapies such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy often lead to a sustained weakness of the immune system.

A dysfunction of the immune system is often present long before the cancer appears, making onset of the illness possible in the first place. An intact immune system, however, is of decisive importance in preventing a recurrence or metastasis formation.

The following methods and substances have proved effective in restoring the functioning of the immune system:

  • Hyperthermia
  • Vital field technology
  • Vitamin C
  • Selenium
  • Organ peptides (thymus, spleen)
  • GcMAF (Macrophage Activating Factor)
  • Mistletoe therapy (with some indications)
